Factors I attribute to successful management are being able to identify obstacles and work through them, as well as being able to spot complex patterns and inter-connections across a range of business issues. When I see problems, I work to identify the root causes, not just identify the symptoms, and to understand the potential implications of the issues. I believe it is important to identify the implications of any changes of the organization on the organization.
